Fimmvöröuháls Hiking Trail: Day 02

Final day, great rest, sunny weather. What a morning!

Approaching our last 12km we packed our stuff and headed out after a brief breakfast. This final hike is just a slow descent between rivers and waterfalls.

Funny how I imagined so much Skógafoss and it's way better in real life! Mindblowing beautiful.

I must let you know that just 5 minute of walking from the waterfall you can find the best fish&chips of Iceland. Mia Country Van is an incredible cozy place that serves only one plate but with an incredible quality… After 6 days of Survivor Food Ration and sandwiches, eating this food was the best thing that could have happened to us. If you’re nearby, stop there nomatterwhat!

What a journey and what a friend I've found in Davide.
